Notes
- 3x…mmvalues stand for cable cross sections between the inverter and braking resistor.
- Select the braking resistor by taking the motor label into consideration, not inverter ratings.Inverter power and current may be greater than the ratings of the motor.Main reference should be motor current.
- Do not put the braking resistor into the controller box. It creates heat and may damage electronic boards.
- Do not forget to connect the metal housing of the resistor to earth. They may be high voltages across the resistor.
- Pay attention in connecting the braking resistor. Any short circuit in resistor or false connection may immediately will burn the inverter.
- If the drivers in 3x400V series are used as monophase (as 1x230V) or in tri-phase 200V line(3x200V)than select the appropriate resistor by looking at table BR2and taking the motor current as the main reference. In this case do not use table BR4.
